Well dress, well spoken

Coat and tie, high heels, and sunglasses.

Phone on the right, coffee on the left,

Welcome to the Corporate Shit!

 

Flashy, glittery, and fishy!

 

To many, it was a fantasy,

To us it was a reality.

They thought it was seating pretty,

Coffee is served, snacks are provided,

Just idling answering calls and emails.

Meeting here, meeting there!

Oh never forget those gate crashers!

Oh, indeed it was a beauty!

Scenery for the many,

Vacation for the tourist!

They say we are lucky,

Indeed, we are!

Thousand have applied,

Few has been chosen.

 

From 8-5 we are paid to

Smile, laugh, and act like it was easy.

Living the mantra of,

Fake it, Do it, Till you make it!

 

But inside we are carrying the burden of the world

We did many good things

But our world crash if we made a single mistake

 

You know our name,

Might be even our position

But not our stress and sorrow.

 

Perhaps it’s time for you to be kind.

For if you only know what’s on surface

Then it’s good to say you know nothing!
