Qatar Visa Stamping in the Philippines 2019 Update

Many of the OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) are still asking if what is the correct/updated procedure on how to do the Qatar Visa stamping in the Philippines. Before we can jump into visa stamping at Qatar Embassy Manila we must first have our VISA NOTICE applied by our sponsor who are currently in Qatar.

So how do we know if we have already approved visa notice to Qatar? Well aside from the fact that our Sponsor told us so, we can also directly check and print it from the Ministry of Interior - Qatar website.

1. Simply type www.moi.gov.qa on your web browser.

2. Click E-services

3. Enter the required information as show in screen below. You maybe want to choose  to enter your passport details or visa notice number if you know so.

4. This will pop-up in your screen and just click PRINT VISA.

5. And your visa notice should be like this. Once you have it print then you can proceed with VISA stamping. 

Now that you have your visa notice you should complete the requirements below based on your visa category to proceed visa stamping.

1. Working Visa (350php)
   1. Visa notice 
   2. Valid Original Passport 
   3. Medical Certificate.
   4. NBI Clearance (for travel abroad) authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines. (2 sets of photocopies A4 size)
   5. 2-pcs. 2×2 size pictures.

2. Personal (350php) /Official / Government Visa (FREE):
   1. Visa notice 
   2. Valid Original Passport 
   3. 2-pcs. 2×2 size pictures. 

3. Resident / Family Resident/ Family Yearly Visas (350php)
   1. Visa notice 
   2. Valid Original Passport 
   3. 2-pcs. 2×2 size pictures.
   4. Medical Certificate.

4. Business / Tourist Visa (350php)
   1. Visa notice 
   2. Valid Original Passport 
   3. 2-pcs. 2×2 size pictures.
   4. Letter of Invitation from the Sponsor or copy of affidavit of support for tourist visa(original, scanned or photocopy)

5. Seaman / Transit Visa (350 php)
   1. Visa notice 
   2. Valid Original Passport 
   3. 2-pcs. 2×2 size pictures.
   4. Valid Seaman’s book

6. Return Permit / Balik Manggagawa (350 php)
1. Return Permit

1. If applicant stayed more than three (3) months in the Philippines
2. Children ages 11 years old and below are exempted from medical requirement.

Please take note of the following:

1. Visa notice can be original, scanned, email of photocopy.

2. Valid Passport should have more than 6 months validity.

3. Photo should be 2x2 with white background. Photo must be clear, sharp and in focus, also it must show both edges on the face clearly and photos must show a full front view of face and shoulders.

4. Medical Certificate can only be obtained from the following ACCREDITED MEDICAL CLINICS Updated as of Feb. 20, 2017 (source http://www.wwwexpress.com.ph/)

• All Medical certificates released by the clinics should have a mark

“VALID FOR QATAR” or “FOR THE EMBASSY OF THE STATE OF QATAR”.

• All medical certificate should have MMR Vaccine.
• Medical Certificate are only valid THREE (3) months from the date of release if the Expiration date is not indicated in the report.

Please note that Qatar Embassy in Manila will not accept Individual transactions, therefore once all documents are complete you may proceed to DHL Express near your place or you may refer to their website (http://www.wwwexpress.com.ph/) for more information.

For those who are residing in North Cotabato there is DHL located at Datu Ingkal St,  Kidapawan City just in-front of Notre Dame of Kidapawan College. 

In addition to above fee from Embassy of Qatar in Manila, DHL processing fee is 450 php. Visa stamping will take 3-5 working days. DHL will provide receipt and they will send you SMS via your registered mobile number informing you that your passport with visa stamp is ready for pick-up or have it deliver to your own place which is PLUS cost of course.

How to apply South Korean tourist visa from Qatar?

  

Because of the K-pop popularity and Korean drama most of us wanted to visit  this beautiful country.

Whether you want to go there for cosmetic procedures, cultural visit,  or simply want to visit this

beautiful country South Korea has a lot to offer all year round. While others are lucky to get free visa or

visa on arrival there are a lot of us who may need to apply for visa before entering this country. If you

are resident in Qatar with valid Qatar ID and wanting to visit the home of the K-pop this guide is for you.

TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENTS

1.     Dully accomplished Visa Application Form (click this http://bit.ly/31F68S9).

2.     Copy of your Valid QID (more than 3 months) (Front and back printed in one page)

3.     Original + Copy of Passport (valid more than 6 months).

4.     Documents to prove your stay in Qatar over 2 years: Choose one option either 4-1 or 4-2

4-1. Two documents

§  Employment Certificate issued by your current company which mentioned position and salary.

§  Certificate which is mentioned your Residency Permit details, including first entry (issuance date) and the expiry date; Apply for 'To Whom It May Concern' certificate through online Metrash application and collect it at the Immigration.

    4-2. One document

§  Employment certificate mentioned official duty starting date and salary, which must be notarized by Consular Department of Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs with one month validity.

5.   Company Computer Card (Front and back printed in one page) and commercial registration.

6.     3 months salary certificate from your bank (original, signed & stamped)

7.     Round-trip air-ticket.

8.     Hotel reservation.

9.     1x Passport size photo with white background taken in 6 months.

TIPS ON HOW TO GET APPROVED VISA

1.   Sufficient fund is highly necessary. Having additional sufficient savings account back to your home country under your name can help you get the approval faster.

2.     Make sure that all the documents required are complete and up to date.

3.     Your previous travel is a + points.

  Right after the system update to whether your visa is approved or not you may go back to the embassy and collect your passport.
